Burritos in Dublin???

Right before I moved to Dublin I ate about 12 enchiladas and went to Qdoba very frequently because I thought I would be unable to get any type of Mexican food for the next year. I even went as far to google if there was a Taco Bell in the greater Dublin area. Bottom line is that I love Mexican food. So, I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived and discovered that there are quite a bit of Mexican cuisine/burrito places in Dublin. I have reviewed a few spots so far and am very happy with the results of the burritos here!

1) Little Ass
Obviously, the name of this burrito place is just too good to pass up. I had to go in. The actual food is delicious, too! They have a ton of meat and mix in options and the best part is the mass amount of hot sauce they have available! I got into hot sauce and spicy food right before I left so I enjoyed spicing up my burrito with all the hot sauces. We're talking, like, 12 different kinds of hot sauce here. Would recommend, especially because of the funny name.

LITTLE ASS

The decor here was pretty cool and artsy fartsy.

2) Pablo Picante
There are multiple locations of this place around Dublin and each one seems to be pretty small and suited for takeaway. I was really surprised when the woman took my order and I found out she was actually from Mexico, so that makes this place really authentic! The meat here is really spicy, which isn't necessarily my favorite, but overall the burrito was super tasty.

3) Tolteca
This place is pretty much the Chipotle of Dublin. It's always busy and the line-up, make your own burrito process is exactly the same. The only difference is that the meat is a tad spicy, but not as bad as Pablo Picante. The best part is that they have my favorite hot sauce, Cholula!!!!!!!!! I was very happy to make this discovery! There's also a ton of locations and one right by my flat so I can get my Cholula fix whenever I need it :)

4) Boojum
Maybe this is the most popular burrito place, maybe the drunk girl who was raving to me about it was just super enthusiastic, idk. After trying it though, I would definitely rate it high on my own personal list. The burrito was huge and I have a gigantic stomach so I really appreciated the huge portion. I also got chips and queso which was bomb, but that portion was pretty tiny. The corn salsa in the burrito was also so incredibly delicious. They also had a funny "How to Eat a Burrito" instruction on the tin foil so that made me laugh. So far this place would have to be my favorite!

Most of these pictures aren't too interesting because I've always been extremely hungry and ate my food before remembering to take pics, etc. oops.

Hopefully, I can keep up the Mexican theme and visit the Mexican cocktail bar/club down the street from my flat soon :)

Xoxo,
Lisa
